Task for the access database "Library" (3rd version)
Description of the subject area
You are the head of the library. Your library decided to make money by renting out some books that are available in a small number of copies. Your task is to monitor the financial performance of the library. Each book issued in the rental has a title, author, genre. Depending on the value of the book, you have determined for each of them a collateral value (the amount paid by the client when taking the book for rent) and the rental price (the amount the client pays when returning the book, receiving a back deposit). The library is addressed by readers. All readers are registered in the card file, which contains standard personal data (name, first name, patronymic, address, telephone number). Each reader can access the library several times. All requests from readers are recorded, while for each fact of issuing the book, the issuance date and expected date of return are remembered.

The development of the formulation of the problem
Now the situation has changed. A simple analysis showed that the cost of renting a book should depend not only on the book itself, but also on the period of its hire. In addition, it is necessary to add a system of penalties for harm caused to the book and a system of discounts for certain categories of readers. Add changes to the table structure that take into account these facts, and modify existing queries. Add new queries.
