Call of Juarez is an epic western-style FPS adventure game. The player alternately gets used to the role of two separate, opposite characters: the cowardly fugitive Billy and the priest Ray hunting him. Apart from the significant emotional and psychological aspect of the connection between the two characters, playing for each of them offers a varied gameplay with many differences.
The game stands out for its fast-paced revolver duels using historically accurate weapons, horseback riding and fights, and tricks in unforgettable Western locations. Simulation of not only rigid bodies and regdolls, but also liquids, gases, fire and smoke makes the gameplay innovative and non-linear.
