1. 6-year-old B. inherited a dacha and a car from his grandfather. In connection with the upcoming move to another city, B.´s parents decided to sell the dacha to one of his father´s colleagues, and donate the car to B.´s 20-year-old brother, who lived nearby with his family and was not going to leave the city. Since such transactions are subject to notarization, B.´s parents turned to the notary with a request to certify the contract of donation of the car and the sale of the dacha.
Question. What should a notary do?
2..17-year-old V., on the occasion of his graduation from school, received a VCR as a gift from his grandmother. After some time, he asked his grandmother´s consent regarding the exchange of a tape recorder for his friend´s video camera. Grandmother formalized her consent in writing, and the exchange took place. V.´s father, having learned about this transaction, demanded that V.´s friend return the tape recorder and take back the video camera, since he did not give his consent to the exchange. An acquaintance refused his father, arguing that V. received a VCR as a gift and could dispose of it at his own discretion.
