The book is devoted to the clinic and morphology of various neoplasms and tumor-like skin malformations and is intended for general practitioners - dermatologists, oncologists, chemotherapists, oncomorphologists, radiation therapists, surgeons, immunologists, therapists, pathologists, etc.
The publication uses materials from clinical observations of case histories, data from morphological studies of diagnostic, operational and biopsy material of tumors and tumor-like skin malformations over the past decade.
The publication consists of a preface, an introduction and two parts - general and specific dermato-oncology.
The first part - general dermato-oncology - highlights the history of its development, immunology and carcinogenesis of skin tumors, gives a classification of neoplasms and tumor-like skin malformations on the basis of the modern WHO international classification, which was expanded by introducing unaccounted nosological forms of skin tumors into it.
In the section of private dermato-oncology, each nosological form is considered in clinical, oncomorphological and prognostic aspects. Clinical and morphological recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors and tumor-like skin malformations are given.
