File formats of graphics in recent years are of great interest. This is primarily due to the rapid development of information technology around the world, including in our country. Increased performance and memory capacity of computers to store and process allowed The larger amount of information.
Processing the graphic information it is often associated with long delays which depend on the quantity and type of information processing as well as the access time in which it is stored. This causes the creation of different file formats for storing image information.
The aim of the thesis - to create a program on the C programming language in Windows, which allows you to view and convert into each other graphics files in formats PCX and GIF.
To this end, the first three chapters describe graphic formats BMP, PCX and GIF. Inclusion of a BMP in this list due to the fact that the format comprises a hardware-independent format DIB, which is an intermediate in the program; so he is also included in the theoretical basis of this paper.
Chapter 4 describes the results of the work and the features associated with the writing program.
Glossary described in Appendix A contains a list of definitions of certain concepts concerning the terminology of a given subject area.
