Leonid Andreyev - Judas Iscariot

Jesus Christ warned many times that Judas Iscariot - a very bad name and should be wary of. Some of the students there are in the West, knew it themselves, many others have heard about it from the people, and there was no one who could say a good word about him. And if decried his kind, saying that Judas avaricious, crafty, inclined to pretense and lies, and the evil, which questioned Judas, reviled him the most cruel words. "He constantly quarrel us - they said, spitting, - he thinks something different and breaks into the house quietly, like a scorpion, and comes out of it with noise. And thieves have friends and comrades have robbers and liars have wives, which they say the truth, Judas laughs at thieves, as well as on the fair, although he skillfully steals and view its uglier all the inhabitants of Judea.
