Stalingrad is a real-time strategy game based on the modified Blitzkrieg engine by Nival Interactive.

The storyline of the game unfolds from mid-July 1942 to January 1943 and describes the events of one of the most dramatic episodes of the Second World War. Within the framework of two detailed campaigns, the player will first lead the offensive of the German army to Stalingrad and the subsequent capture of the city, after which, taking command of the Red Army units, liberate the Soviet stronghold from the Nazi troops and achieve the complete defeat of the 6th Army of the Wehrmacht. Unlike other games on this topic, in "Stalingrad" each mission is built taking into account historical realities and tied to the events that took place during the Second World War, both in time and place. In addition, individual combat missions are organized in such a way that the campaigns as a whole give a real picture of developments in the theater of operations at that time.

“The Battle of Stalingrad is the main battle of the Great Patriotic War,” says Pyotr Prokhorenko, game designer at DTF Games. “For the Red Army, Stalingrad has become a school of war and a symbol of resilience - our troops have gone through the bitterness of losses and retreat to one of the most successful military operations. Stalingrad became the grave of the 6th Army of the German Wehrmacht and the unfulfilled hope of world domination for the Third Reich. We plan to recreate this grandiose battle step by step and give players the opportunity to feel like participants in the Battle of the Volga, which took place over 50 years ago. "

the landscape of game maps was recreated on the basis of tactical maps and aerial photography of the Great Patriotic War;
