Product description
A group of authors signed a contract with a publishing house on publishing a textbook on physics. The publishing house carried out significant work on the preparation of the textbook for publication and paid the authors 60% of the remuneration. However, due to lack of funds, the publication of the textbook was transferred to another private publisher. The authors found that the manuscript of the second publisher was lost.
When the manuscript was finally found, it turned out that the chapter written by the deceased author was replaced by a chapter prepared by another person without the consent of the heirs of the deceased and the team of authors of the textbook.
The authors are interested in: whether the publishing house had the right, without their consent, to transfer the publication of the textbook to another publishing house; to whom and what requirements they could make in connection with the loss of the manuscript; How should we evaluate the replacement of a chapter written by a deceased head of another author?
