Steam Wallet Gift Cards and Codes are an easy way to top up your Steam Wallet, or make a gift to friends and family.
Steam Gift Cards and Wallet Codes work in the same way as Gift Certificates that you can use to purchase games, software, and other items on Steam.
Each Steam user account is assigned a specific currency, which is displayed in the upper right corner of the Steam client. Attempts to redeem a Steam Wallet code issued in a currency other than the account currency may result in an error. Therefore, we recommend changing the region of your account to EU before purchasing a gift card. Also, if you have the currency in your Steam account in USD, then the region does not need to be changed, the gift card on such accounts is also activated. For other countries, the method for changing the region is described below.

Additional information
✔ Go to http://www.steampowered.com/wallet and log in if you haven´t already. You will need to create a Steam account if you don´t already have one.
✔ Once you are logged into your account, enter the Steam Wallet Code you received in the "Steam Wallet Code" field.
✔ Click "Continue" to transfer funds to your wallet.
If your account currency is different from EU, then you need to change the region.
✔ The first step is to enable VPN with the country of Germany or France. Next, we select the cheapest game on Steam, put it in the basket. Go to the basket, change the region in the basket (screenshots 1 and 2). Next, we see that the currency on the account has changed (screenshot 3), in order for these settings to be saved, we need to continue the purchase. We fill in the payment data (you can write any address (4 screenshot)). We pay and after payment the region on the account will change. If you need to change the region back, then use the same method, but it is already possible without a VPN.

Your wallet balance will be credited with an amount equal to the value of the Steam wallet code. The current balance will be listed in the upper right corner next to [Your Account Name].
If you bought a gift card by mistake or cannot change the region, there will be no refund. Change the region before paying for the gift card, not after.
So that unscrupulous buyers do not try to deceive the seller by writing bad reviews that the certificate is activated and requiring a replacement, we recommend that you record a video of the screen from the moment of purchase to the activation itself. Unfortunately, there will be no return/replacement of goods without video. The video should be without pauses or trimming.
