Product description
The title of the first lyric poet in France belongs to François Villon. The date of his birth was established by the mention of the poet himself, adat of death, perhaps, will remain unknown. The author´s last steps in life are still a mystery.
Only scant facts about the life of the restless poet have survived about the biography. It is known that he was the son of a widow, and grew up and was raised in the house of his relative, a priest. He also inherited his surname from his uncle, whom he loved very much and always remembered him. At the age of 12, the boy is already a student at the training department of the University of Paris. Early training was the norm then. The poet was born immediately after the end of the Hundred Years War, in the year of the burning of Jeanne d´Arc at the stake. Pictures of vagrancy, national ruin were included in his poems. Villon´s poetry is all imbued with trouble and instability of being. His very life is a short chain of flights and falls.
