Product description

18. When measuring the viscosity of solutions of polystyrene in toluene using a capillary viscometer, the following data were obtained:
C, g/l 0 1.70 2.12 2.52 2.95 3.40
Solution outflow time τ, s 97.6 115.1 120.2 124.5 129.9 134.9
Calculate the values of the relative, specific, reduced viscosity of polymer solutions and plot the dependence nsp/C =f(C). Determine the intrinsic viscosity [η] and the viscometric Huggins constant K´.
