115. Solving a chemistry problem
Content: 2.rar 111,15 kB
Product description
2.For this metal:
1. Write a possible equation for the oxidation of a metal.
2. For all substances participating in the reaction, write down the values
standard thermodynamic quantities ΔfH0298 and ΔfS0298, a, b, c.
3. Determine the possibility of spontaneous oxidation of the metal under standard conditions using the chemical reaction isotherm equation.
4. Determine the possibility of spontaneous oxidation of the metal at T = 450K and a partial oxygen pressure of 0.21 atm.
5. Plot the dependence of ΔrG° on Т and mark on the graph the temperature range (shading) of spontaneous reaction.
6. Determine the criterion for film continuity.
