36. Solving a chemistry problem
Content: 2х.rar 152,17 kB
Product description
2. The values of the partial pressures of the vapors of the components in the system "water (1 component) - acetone (2 component)" are known at different mole fractions of the second component in the liquid phase.
N2(l) 0 0.2 0.4 0.6 0.8 1
р1*10-4, Pa 0.316 0.267 0.253 0.220 0.149 0.000
р2*10-4, Pa 0.000 1.879 2.253 2.479 2.706 3.056
Necessary:
1) build on graph paper a graph of the dependence of the partial pressures of the components on the mole fraction of the second component (Fig. 1)
2) plot the dependence of the total vapor pressure over the solution on the composition (in the same Fig. 1)
3) determine whether there are deviations from Raoult´s law and determine their sign (positive or negative);
4) Calculate the activity coefficients of each component of the solution with the following compositions N2(l)= 0.3;0.5;0.7.
