Product description

232. A colloidal solution (sol) of AD was obtained by mixing V1 ml of an aqueous solution of AE with a molar concentration of C1 and V2 ml of an aqueous solution of VD with a molar concentration of C2 (data for the solution are given in Table 3.1). 1) Write the reaction equation and determine which of the reaction products forms a sol. 2) Calculate which of the starting substances – AC or VD – was taken in excess. 3) Write the formula of the micelle of the resulting AD sol and indicate the charge of the colloidal particle (granules). 4) Determine to which electrode and which part of the micelle will move during electroosmosis. 5) For these electrolytes: K2SO4, NaNO3, Na3PO4, MgCl2, CdSO4, Al2(SO4)3: a) determine which of the electrolyte ions will cause coagulation, and arrange the ions in a row in order of decreasing coagulation threshold; b) calculate the coagulation thresholds C in the AD ash for each of the proposed electrolytes, using the Schultz-Hardy rule or the Deryagin-Landau law, if the coagulation threshold of the AD hydrosol under the influence of the KNO3 electrolyte is equal to C (Table 3.1).
