Product description

12. For substance A, the following are given: the heat of vaporization, the heat of sublimation, the density of the solid and liquid phases dtv, dzh at the triple point temperature Ttr.t. Based on these data: 1) calculate the boiling point of substance A using Trouton´s equation; 2) compose the equation IgPzh = a/T b (a and b are constants) for the equilibrium liquid ↔ vapor; 3) calculate the pressure of saturated vapor A at the triple point using the equation obtained; 4) make the equation lg Ptv = a’/T b’ for the equilibrium solid phase ↔ steam; 5) calculate dP/dT for solid ↔ liquid equilibrium; 6) plot the dependence of the equilibrium pressure on the phase transition temperature for three phase states in the pressure range from 0 to 1.013 * 105 Pa. In a given pressure range, the dependence of pressure on temperature for the equilibrium solid phase ↔ liquid phase is expressed by a straight line, i.e. dP/dT = const.
