6(1). In the determination of furfural in a mixture by gas chromatography, its peak area Sfurfural was compared with the peak area of o-xylene Sxylene, which was introduced as a standard. For a standard sample containing 25% furfural and the test sample, the following results were obtained:

Take k equal to one for both components. Determine the mass fraction (%) of furfural in the test sample. Answer: 1) 47.78%; 2) 37.92%; 3) 32.55%.
