a) The solution was prepared by diluting 50 ml of 14% NaOH solution (density 1.154 g/cm3) with water to 250 ml.
b) Acetic acid solution 0.6% (density 1 g/cm3).
c) The solution was obtained by dissolving 1 g of NaOH in 250 ml of a 0.2 M formic acid solution.
