Content: 6.rar 124,04 kB
Product description
6. In tabular form, the dependence of the composition of the liquid and gaseous phases on temperature in the binary liquid at constant pressure in the system CH3OH 1st component) - (CH3)2CO (2nd component) is given. The phase compositions are expressed in mole fractions of the second component.
Т,К 337, 333.1 331.3 330.2 328.6 328.8 329.5
Mole fraction of acetone in the liquid phase 0.000 0.176 0.280 0.400 0.800 0.940 1.000
Mole fraction of acetone in the vapor phase 0.000 0.317 0.420 0.516 0.800 0.900 1.000
Necessary:
1) Construct a "temperature-composition" diagram for "liquid-vapor" equilibrium.
2) Determine at what temperature a solution with a mole fraction of the second component of 0.34 will begin to boil.
3) Determine the mass of the components in vapors and in liquid if 5 kg of a solution of the mentioned composition is heated to 331 K.
