Product description
8. According to the dependence of saturated vapor pressure on temperature and density of a given substance A in solid and liquid states (dsolid and dl in kg / m3, M in g / mol) at the triple point (tr. t.):
1) plot the dependency graph ln p =f( 1/T);
2) determine the coordinates of the triple point from the graph;
3) calculate the average heat of evaporation and sublimation;
4) determine approximately the boiling point of a substance at normal pressure and check the applicability of Trouton´s rule;
5) determine the heat of fusion of the substance at the temperature of the triple point Ttr.t;
6) calculate dT/dP for the melting process at the triple point temperature;
7) calculate the melting point of the substance at pressure p, Pa;
8) calculate the change in entropy, isobaric-isothermal potential, internal energy and work for the process of sublimation of 1 mol of substance at the triple point;
9) determine the number of thermodynamic degrees of freedom for the following values of temperature and pressure: a) Тtr.t, rtr.t; b) Tn.t.k., p = 1 atm; c) Tn.t.k., rtr.t ..
The data required for the calculation are given in Table 1.2, according to your option.
