Product description
Drawing of the ring tilter (general view)
Description:
The ring consists of two half-rings 1, each of which, in turn, has a hinge 2, which allows the upper part of the half-ring to be thrown away when laying the product. The beam to be welded is fixed by stops made in the lower part of the rings. The clamp is carried out by screw clamps 3, the nut of which is welded into the body of the upper parts of the rings. Docking and fastening of the half rings 1 is carried out with union bolts 4. The position of the rings is fixed with a finger 5, which, under the action of a spring 6, enters the hole in the rim of the ring; the withdrawal of the finger is carried out by the pedal 7. Support rollers 8 are made on ball bearings. The outer bearing housing contains collars to absorb random axial forces. To reduce the turning force, the device should be made in such a way that the common center of gravity of the device and the product is in the geometric center of the rings. In this case, the effort required to rotate the rings will be spent only on overcoming the losses due to the rolling friction of the rings on the rollers and the friction losses on the roller axes.
