Actua Soccer 3 for Windows PC is the third and final installment of the soccer simulator series from Gremlin Interactive. The creators set themselves the task of improving the solutions of the previous parts of the series and supplementing them with new elements.
Players again have the opportunity to lead the players of their favorite teams. This time the database contains information on four hundred and fifty teams from twenty-five national leagues, in which ten thousand players play. Official licenses from football federations allowed creators to use authentic club and athlete names.
The creators stayed true to the proven game mechanics of the previous two hits in the series, but they enriched them with new elements, such as the ability to correct the tactics used by the team formations during the match. The quality of weather effects has also improved, which affects not only the visual layer of virtual matches, but also the behavior of the ball and players.
Technically, the game is based on an improved version of the graphics engine previously used in Actua Soccer 2. At the audio level, it was decided to change one of the commentators. Trevor Brooking hosted Martin O´Neill (former manager of Celtic Glasgow), who has partnered with BBC sports reporter Barry Davis, who is best known for his BBC antenna. On the soundtrack of Actua Soccer 3, you can hear Robbie Williams´ song "Let Me Entertain You".
