After inheriting the house of her reclusive aunt Kate, Riley Park decides to explore it. In the attic, she discovers an old television and a stack of VHS tapes, labeled only with the episode number of an unknown show. Intrigued, Riley inserts the first tape into the VCR.

To Riley´s surprise, it turns out to be a children´s cartoon series from the early 2000s that she has never seen before: apparently, the program was made for local television. The main characters are a girl named Amanda and the lamb Curly, her faithful but shy friend. At first, the episode seems simple and sweet, but then Riley realizes that something is wrong: Amanda and Curly seem to be communicating with her through the TV. And although her mind tells her to stop, Riley is forced to continue watching the tapes. It seems like Amanda needs something, and now Riley won´t rest until she finds out what it is.
