Description:
Arata Haunted Asylum is a 2D top-down survival horror game based on the story of a haunted asylum located in Japan. You have to explore the shelter in search of evidence of paranormal phenomena. The Arata Vault was built in the 1960s in the Japanese countryside and was used to treat thousands of mentally ill patients. It was one of the oldest hospitals in the country, in which various tragic incidents occurred during its existence. The hospital admitted patients who were considered either too sick or too dangerous to be part of society. In the 1980s, one of the patients was rumored to have hit herself in the head with a hammer and died. The incident occurred mainly due to the negligence of the shelter staff. It also became known that the asylum´s corrupt doctors secretly performed various experiments on mentally ill patients, which led to the death of many patients. Later, other incidents occurred that led to the closure of the shelter in 1993. People who visited the shelter said they saw dark shadows, the ghosts of deceased patients, heard the sounds of laughter, knocking on the walls, etc. It is said that the basement of the building is inhabited by evil forces that are very active. Paranormal enthusiast Doi decided to check out the haunted asylum for evidence of the paranormal.
You play as Doi, a paranormal enthusiast, and will you accept the challenge to explore the haunted asylum at night? Explore the whole nuthouse.
