What you need to activate / use DLC:

1. You must download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/about (if not already installed);
2. Register a new account on Steam or go to an existing one;
2.1 Buy and activate the game ARK: Survival Evolved (if it has not already been done);
3. The link received after purchase, it is necessary to copy and paste into your Internet browser, authorize under your Steam account and ACCEPT a gift to yourself in the LIBRARY (ie activate to your account) or ACCEPT and add a gift to the INVENTORY (i.e. A gift can be given to someone);
4. After activation, DLC will appear in the properties for the game and you will be able to download it along with the game with steam, and then start playing.
