Product description

Art. 51 of the Jordanian Constitution provides for political accountability of the government to parliament. A resolution of mistrust must be approved by the monarch. The right to prematurely dissolve the parliament presupposes the creation of a permanent acting advisory council in its place under the monarch. The last parliamentary election (in 1989) was preceded by a 30-year period of demon parliamentary rule.
