Doctor Wolfram von Trauerschloss and his wife Belladonna are distraught after losing their young child. The doctor is overcome by a dark obsession with finding a way to "defeat" death. He involves Belladonna in his experiments, and the story begins to take surprising turns when the dead begin to return to life, and it becomes harder to believe in life itself with each passing second.

• Belladonna is a game whose main character is a girl, a dead girl. She suddenly realizes that she has been resurrected. Looking around, the girl realizes that she is in a creepy laboratory. Now she has to understand how she died, who and why resurrected her. While working on the game, the developers decided to show the players their version of how dead creatures look at life, what they think about, what worries them, etc.
