CONSORTIUM can be described as a first-person sci-fi RPG. However, it can also be attributed to the adventure genre.

The story begins in our world - the "real world", where we at Interdimensional Games have succeeded in creating a satellite (iDGi-1) capable of opening a digital divide across time and space. Anyone with an internet connection can travel through the gap, entering an alternate dimension of our world - the "game world" of 2042.

Consortium, being the first game in a planned trilogy, features a completed storyline aboard the Zenlil. The game is reminiscent of an episode from Star Trek, filmed on the same set, where you are part of the cast.
