The game “Cossacks: Back to War” is dedicated to the wars of the 16th and 17th centuries, when scattered feudal militia turned into a serious regular army. It features nations that emerged on the military and political scene at this time, such as the Swiss Confederation, which played a key role in the process of transforming the militia into an army in which the main figure was the infantryman.
