Let the battle begin! The addition Cossacks II: Battle for Europe continues the events of the famous game Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars. The addition reflects a rather short period in the history of the Napoleonic wars. Napoleonic´s wars changed Europe forever, leading to the formation of states in the modern sense and ending almost a thousand years of internecine warfare between minor European powers. Large-scale battles await you with the participation of thousands of armies in the context of the greatest military conflict of those times. The theater of operations includes France, Britain, Austria, Russia, Prussia, Egypt, and three countries not represented in the original game: Spain, the Grand Duchy of Warsaw (Poland), and the Confederation of the Rhine.

Cossacks II: Battle for Europe recreates in detail the uniforms, weapons and architecture of each of the participating countries. The army of each state has its own unique troops and features. There are more than 180 types of troops, 190 buildings and 1,200 different animals and plants available in the game. When developing the game´s combat system, the peculiarities of warfare in the 19th century were taken into account, and issues of supply, combat formations and morale can determine the outcome of the battle. The tactical techniques used by the officers of this period are reflected in detail in the game. For the first time in the games of the Cossacks series, an “honest” ballistics system for bullets and cannonballs, based on the laws of physics, appeared. Other features of the engine include 3D terrain shaping, which allows you to create realistic landscapes and settlements, and also affects tactical options during battles. For example, soldiers and cannons positioned on the top of a hill can shoot further than troops positioned on the plain.
