Curse of the Sea Rats is a “rating”: an adventure platformer, animated by hand! Its main characters are four British prisoners, whom Burn´s pirate witch turned into rats. They want to return their human bodies, but for this they will have to fight with dangerous bosses, discover the secrets of the coast of Ireland and finally, catch the very witch that cursed them. The sighted 2D animation created by hand makes the characters of the game truly alive. The source of inspiration for artists was classic cartoons and games of the gold era of 2D platformers. Animation fits organically into a detailed 3D environment, and the light and shadow create a feeling of pseudo-it, which makes an incredible impression.
