Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a story supplement to the Cyberpunk 2077 game, bringing elements of a spy thriller to the narrative.

Plot: after V finds a solution to his problem with the biochip, he is contacted by a Netrunner Jay and the closest assistant to the president of the National Academy of Sciences, Rosalind Myers. On Jay´s instructions, Vi arrives in a nearby city, a separate area of Night City, which is controlled by the Bargest armed group led by former military man Hansen. Upon Vee´s arrival in the area, Hansen announces in a video message that the shuttle of the President of the National Academy of Sciences, Rosalind Myers, has crashed in Dog City. Vi needs to save the president and ensure her safety.

Gameplay: The expansion takes place in a new area called "Dogtown", which has its own unique characters, quests and concerts. Phantom Liberty introduces a new Relic skill tree with nine abilities. The expansion also raises the level limit to 60 and adds new weapons and vehicles to the game. The game also features new quick moves that allow players to perform actions such as jumping in the air, seeing through walls, or changing their appearance on the fly.

Depending on the player´s decision, a new ending of the base game will be unlocked.
