Database of countries and cities of the world

Base countries and cities around the world.

The number of countries - 217.
The number of cities - 116 392.
Russian language.

All information is stored in one table.
Fields of the table:
• id: Identifier record
• country_code: 2-letter ISO country code
• country_name: name of country
• city: city name

The base is available in two versions:
1. The database is MS Access (format Access 2002-2003 (* .mdb));
2. SQL query to create and populate database tables for MySQL.
Both versions are encoded in UTF-8.

On the basis of the same provided flags of countries image files contained in the database (format - PNG; size - 16x11 pixels.).
