Terror. Violence. Madness. Bedlam. Holiday paradise gone crazy. A tropical island turns into complete chaos after a mysterious zombie outbreak. Cut off from the rest of the world, the player´s only chance to survive is to fight to the death and find a way to escape the island.

Dead Island combines first-person action with a focus on hand-to-hand combat, character progression, and customization of a vast array of weapons. All of these gameplay features are presented in a dark story inspired by classic zombie movies, with a tough and addictive campaign that can be played by up to four players in co-op mode.

The action takes place on a tropical island with an open world. Hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner as they embark on many exciting missions at the resort. With firearms and ammunition in short supply, the player must rely on using found items as weapons for self-defense and fend off hordes of zombies in intense hand-to-hand combat. You can collect a variety of items that will later serve to turn the player´s ordinary improvised weapons into serious tools of destruction.

Dead Island will not only satisfy the most bloodthirsty action fan´s fantasy, but also contains RPG elements that allow the player to develop one of the unique character classes according to their preferences, while learning new skills and new tactics during their journey. through the dangerous environments of the island.
