About a year ago, the island of Granic turned out to be in the epicenter of a large-scale catastrophe. The conglomerate "New World" hid information about the tragedy and is now trying to correct the consequences.
As part of this campaign, numerous Volunteers - many of whom have never held a gun - are sent to Frontier to investigate the paranormal impact of the disaster, to collect information and to carry out instructions from the leadership. They are not ready for what awaits them on the island.
The player will become a volunteer, to single-handedly or in a team of four to explore the world with monsters, anomalies and unpredictable weather conditions.
