Desmond, the protagonist of the game, was once the cheerful and carefree son of a wealthy businessman. After a series of sad events, he lost almost all human qualities, but, having made a deal with the devil, he acquired demonic powers and became the executioner of Hell. Desmond is now a destroyer and savior rolled into one. His human nature gradually fades away, and the thirst for revenge, on the contrary, intensifies. Crushing enemies with fists and claws, he uses the abilities of both a human and a demon with equal success. After passing through the gates of Hell and returning back, Desmond will face a choice that will determine the future of the whole world.
