The Metro Exodus Expansion Pass consists of two main add-ons telling unknown stories from the world of Metro. Players will part ways with Artyom and get to know a completely new hero and one of the fighters of the Order of Sparta and the only American from Aurora, Sam.
The Two Colonels
Through the dungeons of dead Novosibirsk, Colonel Khlebnikov is trying to get home to his son Kirill to celebrate the New Year with him.
It´s not easy for a person here. The slime absorbs the tunnels, mutants attack more and more often, and the priceless "green" that protects against radiation is running out. To save humanity, the authorities are forced to take emergency measures.
Exploring the path and adventures of Khlebnikov in the last days of his life — a year later, Colonel Melnik is following in his footsteps — players will go through a new linear plot in the classic entourage of Metro. They are waiting for a new weapon, a deadly flamethrower, cramped locations and the already familiar incredible tension.
Sam’s Story
Sam, a U.S. Marine who served in the Moscow embassy before the bombing, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland and finding his family. In the dark tunnels of the Subway, this seems impossible. But when the Order of Sparta learned that not only Moscow survived after the war, Sam´s hope began to look less stupid.
Sam gets out of the Aurora to find his way to the USA. He finds himself in the harbors of Vladivostok, destroyed by the tsunami, among the ruins of factories and crumbling residential buildings. To survive and get to the goal, Sam will have to use all his knowledge and skills — the world around him turns out to be much angrier than he expected.
Players will help Sam survive in Vladivostok, and then walk with him through the vast wastelands of post-apocalyptic Russia.
