"Determining the density of washing liquids"
The purpose of this work is to determine the density of the clay solution at a given concentration of the solid phase.
The density of drilling mud is its mass, enclosed in a unit of volume. Relative density is the ratio of the density of drilling mud to the density of fresh water.
Applied equipment
Laboratory clay mixer, measuring glass cylinder, electronic scales, clay samples of various types, water canister, hydrometer AG-3PP (designed to determine the density of clay and cement solutions).
Laboratory work. "Determination of conditional viscosity"
The purpose of this work is to determine the conditional viscosity with the VBR-1 viscometer.
Conditional viscosity (HC, C) - the value determined by the time of expiration of a standard funnel of a certain volume of drilling mud. Conditional viscosity indirectly characterizes the hydraulic resistance to flow, i.e. the mobility of the drilling mud.

"Preparation of clay solution and determination of its parameters"
The purpose of the work is to learn how to prepare a clay solution.
Applied equipment
Agitator, containers for solution.
Order of actions
1. Weigh the clay powder.
2. Measure the required amount of water.
3. Mix in a mixer. It turns out a clay solution.
4. Determine the density using a hydrometer (lab # 2)
To prepare the solution, knowing the required density, we calculate the component composition.
