The textbook includes four main sections of the economic theory.
Section 1 "General principles of economic theory" describes the concepts of society and the economy of material production as the foundation of human society; the necessity of studying the laws and regularities of the development of social production, reveals the subject and object of economic theory, explores the nature of the economic system of society, the place and role of property relations in the economic system, characterized by commodity production as a form in which the system of economic relations, analyzes the content of a transition economy.
In Section 2, "Microeconomics" highlights the problems of demand, supply and consumption. Considerable attention is paid to the costs and revenues of the company, in the functioning of millet companies in a competitive environment. Specially marked the theme of "The pricing of factors of production," "microeconomic regulation mechanism", which address the company's pricing strategy and the basic principles, forms and elements of the mechanism of micro-economic control of the company.
In Section 3, "Macroeconomics" highlighted the problems of the national economy, such as the purpose and structure; national product and its measurement; aggregate demand and aggregate supply, macroeconomic instability, inflation and unemployment; financial system and fiscal policy, monetary system; social policy.
In Section 4, "The world economy" reflects the economic relations in the world community, disclosed the objective conditions of its formation, as well as issues such as the global market and the mechanism of its functioning form of international economic relations, foreign relations, and economic growth.
Offers readers the third edition of the textbook because the demand far exceeded the previous proposal. The book was a demand, not only in Belarus but also in the markets of Russia and Ukraine. Its use in the classroom showed the need to fill some of the adjustments, or earlier.
