You´ve just become the chieftain of a small Viking clan, and you have your own village under your command. But to carve your name into the runes of history, you´ll need great power and great wealth. Only then can you make your village famous and prosperous. The northern lands are barren and sparse, and you must turn your gaze west—to where, according to legend, a wondrous island filled with treasures lies in the sea.
Hunt for Fortune
Your loyal housecarls will follow you even to Valhalla if you command. But to leave a millennia-long legacy, you´ll need more than just loyalty. Gather a band of mighty warriors, build a ship, and set sail across the sea in search of wealth and glory. Britain awaits you in Expeditions: Viking.
• Create your own Viking chieftain! Customize your character using a unique system where stats, skills, and abilities define your role.
• Raiding or trading? The Vikings were known not only as fierce warriors but also as skilled traders. Will you take your share—iron or gold?
• War and Politics: Form alliances with a wide variety of peoples, be it the Norse, the Picts, or the Angles.
• Reputation: Choose carefully: stories of your deeds may make others fear you, but will they trust you?
• Write your name on the pages of history: There´s a place for you in the beautiful and brutal history of the northerners.
