GeoGuessr is a browser game developed by Swedish programmer Anton Wallen. It was released on May 9, 2013[1]. The game uses Google Street View maps, requiring the player to guess the location of a street/alley/highway in the world by marking it on Google Maps. In a day (within a week of the game´s publication), 100,000-300,000 users visited its website. Since December 2015, the game is also available as an iOS app.
