Legacy – this is the name of the version that was there all the time before, they just added this postscript to Grand Theft Auto V. Nothing has changed in it at all, and now it is "outdated", however – it will continue to be supported and will receive updates with content, Rockstar stated.

Enhanced – a fundamentally new version on PC, which has received a number of significant improvements compared to Legacy, but in short – this is a modified version of the 9th generation from consoles. It contains updated graphics, additional content (in GTA Online), animals in the open world of the online mode, career progression, and so on.

GTA V now supports ray tracing, AMD FSR1, AMD FSR3 and Nvidia DLSS 3 technologies, ultra-ultra-wide aspect ratio (32:9), as well as a higher number of frames per second (the game engine no longer chokes if the system produces more than ~180 fps); also, the version fully supports the DualSense gamepad (for example, it uses adaptive triggers).
Overall, the picture in the game has become more saturated and contrasting - the visuals are now delicious and beautiful in a next-gen way.
All this, of course, means that the Enhanced version of GTA has its own system requirements.

The GTA V start menu has been completely redesigned, and now it is more flexible and informative:
"Career selection" for new players.
$4,000,000 starting capital for all new players and the opportunity (or rather, the need) to choose one of the character development branches, spending from $3kk on property related to the chosen branch.

In the Enhanced version, you can get additional $GTA and RP, as well as new unique rewards for completing special tasks related to various updates: for example, Pavel´s cap and T-shirt for completing a certain number of FIB Cases at the Sewing Factory, and much, much more from other updates.
Hao´s Workshop, new cars and car upgrades.
The Enhanced version opens access to Hao´s Special Works (HSW) upgrades in the LS Auto Club workshop, among which are new levels of improving vehicle characteristics (for example, turbocharging levels 1, 2 and 3, an additional level of improvement of the SUD, brakes, etc.), which will make your cars much more powerful. However, such improvements are not available for all cars and motorcycles, but only for a number of specific ones.

HSW Races – a series of races where you can only use vehicles with HSW improvements. They are based on existing race tracks, but with this tuning restriction for the elite. At one time, in regular races you can now turn off the ability to use HSW vehicles (since they can be unbalanced).
HSW Time Trials are new time trials where you can also only use vehicles with HSW upgrades. They are separately marked on the map and are updated weekly, like regular time trails.
The reward for completing them for the first time this week is $250,000 and 5,000 RP
