In accordance with the terms of the contract, the Spanish company undertook to deliver a batch of perfumes and cosmetics, the range of which was determined by a special protocol. The Act of Acceptance of Goods established that the range was unilaterally changed by the supplier. The supplier refused with the request of the buyer to replace the goods with the one agreed in the protocol. The Russian plaintiff in the lawsuit referred to the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant in his objections during the process applied the provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 1980.
