An individual entrepreneur acquired commercial real estate located on a site that belonged to the former owner of the real estate on the right of permanent (unlimited) use. The entrepreneur appealed to the local government with a statement on the acquisition of land in private ownership, based on the provisions of the Land Code of the Russian Federation and the Federal Law on the entry into force of the RF LC. The local government refused the applicant, referring to the fact that the lands within which this plot is located were reserved for 10 years for the construction of social and cultural facilities. In this case, the citizen was asked to conclude a lease of land for 10 years.
