King´s Bounty: The Legend is an adventure game with tactical turn-based combat and role-playing game elements. In a fairy-tale fantasy world of fearless knights, evil magicians, wise kings and beautiful princesses, the player controls the hero. Navigating your character through the game world, exploring it, commanding armies in battle and completing various quests can mean both great rewards and huge defeats.
The gameplay is divided into two main sections: adventure mode and battle mode. When playing in adventure mode, the gamer controls his character in real time. With several classes available at the start of a new game, the player navigates the adventure map in search of various treasures, fights monsters, and completes quests assigned to him by local stewards. In Combat mode, the player takes on the role of a warlord leading his troops in tactical turn-based combat. Battles take place on land or sea, in dungeons or castles, or even on some objects! The hero himself does not participate in battle, but can help his troops by casting spells or summoning various creatures.
