Over the course of a century, mankind, not only subjectively, but also objectively, in direct life, has experienced the ideas of a socialist and communist society, in confirmation of this - the existence of the USSR for seventy years. During all this time, ideas and practice had not only divergences and contradictions, but were directly opposite. This state was primarily a consequence of the fact that the name and ideas were, and it was not possible to theoretically substantiate and define the exact essence of socialism and communist society.
The purpose of this study is to reveal, on the basis of the main mechanisms of social development, the essence and real definition of socialism and communist society as a whole.
