In Lords and Villeins, the family is the main unit of society. A family´s profession determines its occupation and place in the economy. Give them a plot of land, build a house - and the family will independently develop the economy and their own business, and will also manage their goods, set aside a portion to pay taxes and trade with caravans and other families in order to receive money and replenish supplies.

Your task is to regulate and develop the economy. Monitor the balance of supply and demand, provide residents with the necessary resources and maintain stable profit growth. Lords and Villeins offers you a sandbox with a complex simulation and a wide choice of development strategies - from a communist economy, in which all production is collected from manufacturers and redistributed from your warehouse, to a free market economy in which you have little intervention.

Show your abilities in organizing logistics. The settlement will grow, meaning that as you continue to allocate land and natural resources, you will need to consider distances, the placement of storage, private markets, and residences to maximize the productivity of all residents.

• Unique family management mechanics: distribute land plots between families and monitor local tax policies, production priorities and logistics.
• In-depth mechanics for the development of a market economy and personal property: villagers run shops, allowing them to sell surplus goods and buy food and materials from each other as part of a cooperative production chain. Prices of goods fluctuate depending on supply and demand, and trade caravans provide imports and exports.
• Fully simulated procedurally generated environment with advanced artificial intelligence capable of developing residents´ relationships, monitoring their needs, daily activities and personal aspirations.
