Dangerous and unpredictable environments are a hallmark of all games in the Lost Planet series, but now the player will face the most difficult challenges yet! Lost Planet 3, dedicated to the history of the colonization of E.D.N. III, reveals new secrets of the ominous planet.
The hero of Lost Planet 3 is pilot Jim Peyton, who accepted a risky but profitable business offer from the Neo Venus Constructions (NEVEK) company. Having flown from Earth to the planet E.D.N. III, which the company is preparing for colonization, Jim joins his fellow pioneers at the Koronis base. There he begins to explore the territory and collect samples of thermal energy, which makes up the planet’s energy reserve.
With NEVEC´s reserves of thermal energy running low, the fate of the mission to Koronis depends on whether the energy can be extracted from a natural source found. Jim realizes that this is a great chance to get a huge reward and go home early. The pilot decides to challenge the treacherous planet and the aggressive local Akrid race.
For Jim, the car is “a home away from home.” It stores a set of tools that are indispensable in the field. Without the car, Jim would have lost not only his job, but also his life - the body protects the pilot from the vagaries of the climate.
Lost Planet 3 combines different gameplay styles, including on-foot combat and intense first-person combat. The game has several multiplayer game modes and a fascinating story for one player. Lost Planet 3 will allow you to dive even deeper into the world of Lost Planet and uncover the secrets of E.D.N. III. in a unique dynamic environment.
