The developers describe the content as follows: MechWarrior 5 contains combat violence in vehicles. You are a pilot in "mech" and shoot at "enemy" mechs, tanks and helicopters that explode. There are destructible buildings throughout the game, as well as enemy infantry that the player can step on or shoot at. The blood of enemy infantry is shown. When the player´s robot is destroyed, it topples over and a mission error menu appears on the screen.
