Mezhov was convicted of murder with hooligan motives, committed with particular cruelty (items “d”, “and”, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), theft of property ( part 1 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the deliberate destruction of another´s property (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) by 8 years in prison with a sentence in a penal colony.
Mezhov was previously tried for moderate crimes, after being released under amnesty from places of deprivation of liberty, he did not take the path of correction, abused alcohol, was negatively characterized at his place of work and at home. There are no dependents on its maintenance.
