- Over 350 new events. From important rituals to authentic religious wars, power struggles, intrigue, and the cunning plots of the clergy. Maneuver your way through a world of religious conflict, compromise, or bend the line.
- New Clergy Characters. These new characters will be able to join your court, give assignments and suggest projects. It´s up to you if they can benefit the kingdom: if you earn the appreciation of their religion, the clerics will always come to your aid. - In addition, you can always make an existing character a cleric. To do so, you need to complete the task of the head of the state religion.
- More than 10 new character traits. There are several new character traits in Divine and Secular - these include basic traits, event-related traits, and traits unique to members of the clergy.
- Six new historical characters: Mani, the founder of Manichaeism; Paul, an ardent Christian preacher and one of the first apostles; Josephus, a Jewish rebel, general and scholar; Ostanes, one of the greatest mystics, to whom rumor ascribes the ability to handle witchcraft; Sappho, a Greek poet; Hypatia, a philosopher and scholar from Alexandria.
- The mechanics of religious schism. If you cause discontent with one of the religions, discontent will accumulate in the cities where it is practiced, which can lead to riots and serious long-term consequences.
- More than 10 new "cult" projects for cities. With the new events in the game, there are new "cult" improvements for cities, as well as improvements to existing sanctuaries. Each has a different effect on your realm.
